Expert Local Sourcing

ArtLink took this challenge to heart, curating a collection that reflects the site’s rich heritage and contemporary culture. In three decades of practice, ArtLink has formed relationships with thousands of artists across the globe. Through our current relationships and sourcing new talent, our curators found the right local voices to represent in this project. By searching both locally and online, they identified established and emerging Belgian and Brussels-based artists whose work reflects the culture and identity of the locale.

Beyond sourcing, ArtLink’s curators conducted extensive research into the culture, landscape, and heritage of Brussels and the site of the hotel. This ensured that the chosen artworks aligned not only with the city’s sensibilities but also with the Corinthia brand and its global audience. Each piece was carefully selected to reflect the spirit of the destination while enhancing the guest experience.

The result is a collection that reimagines Corinthia Brussels as a modern creative cultural landmark by celebrating the local art scene. Every artwork contributes to the hotel’s unique narrative, creating a dynamic space that honours its legacy and positioning it as a champion of local artistic expression.

The Value of Local Art in Hospitality

Local art offers guests a uniquely immersive experience that cannot be replicated elsewhere. These personalized, location-specific experiences resonate on a subconscious level, fostering an emotional connection to the city. By encountering art that authentically reflects the local culture and environment, guests form deeper, more memorable impressions of their stay.

In an increasingly competitive market, this kind of differentiation is invaluable. Hotels that invest in unique local art experiences not only enhance their brand identity by aligning with cultural authenticity but also build stronger guest loyalty through meaningful and enriching stays. By celebrating the local culture and providing one-of-a-kind, immersive experiences, hotels position themselves as leaders in meaningful and memorable hospitality.

When Corinthia Brussels embarked on its journey to reestablish the hotel as a cultural beacon, it was clear that the art collection had to reflect the dynamic energy of Brussels' contemporary art scene. ArtLink made this vision a reality by leveraging its global network and expertise in local sourcing to create a bespoke collection that embodies the spirit of the city. Through deep research and collaboration with local artists, ArtLink ensured that each piece not only complemented the hotel’s design but also enriched the guest experience by fostering a profound connection to Brussels.

The resulting collection is a lasting testament to the value of integrating local art into hospitality. By capturing the essence of Brussels, ArtLink has contributed to the repositioning of the Corinthia Brussels as a destination where culture and creativity converge, offering guests an unforgettable journey into the heart of the city.
