OUR PIONEERING MOMENTS
1996
ArtLink was established as a pioneering art venture to launch a global market for young and emerging artists.
1997
The strategic ArtLink@Sotheby’s partnership helped create the young and emerging art segment, now the largest in the global art market.
1998
ArtLink held the first-ever live online auction showcasing young and emerging artists at Sotheby's Rostock, Germany, selling 100% of artworks.
1999
ArtLink received widespread media coverage following the success of its first ArtLink@Sotheby’s auction, with CNN calling it “the most exciting development in the art market in decades.”
2002
ArtLink curated the first international young art collection for a hotel, at the Victoria Park Plaza in London.
2007
ArtLink introduced a new approach to curating hospitality art, embedding local culture into the guest experience—first implemented at The Plaza, New York.
2016
ArtLink introduced its curatorial methodology to the cruise ship market, completing a collection for the Holland America Line MS Koningsdam.
2019
ArtLink integrated endangered crafts into hospitality projects to support creative communities and establish a framework for hospitality properties to give back through cultural engagement.
2022
ArtLink became the world’s first certified sustainable global art player recognized by Green Globe, Go Green Sustainability, and PEFC.
