Championing Young & Emerging Art
This groundbreaking collaboration introduced a rotating, for-sale art collection into a hospitality environment—an unprecedented concept at the time. Guests could purchase works on-site or online, with sold pieces seamlessly replaced by ArtLink, ensuring the collection remained fresh and dynamic. With the exception of works acquired by the hotel, the entire collection was renewed annually.
As a point of inspiration for the art collection, ArtLink conceptually deconstructed a Qatari rock into its basic elements of sand, stone, glass and iron ore, using these materials as a guide for our curatorial journey with dozens of artists involved in bringing the collection to life.

Window Installation: The Lovers
Placed prominently in the hotel’s front-facing lobby windows, The Lovers by young artist Michael Krynski consists of six life-sized sculptures that form a quiet, emotive tableau. Visible from the street, the installation was designed to engage passersby as much as hotel guests—drawing the outside world into a moment of reflection. With gestures that suggest intimacy, distance, and longing, the figures evoke human connection in its many forms, inviting viewers to pause and interpret their silent dialogue.
A suspended 3D sculpture titled White by young artist Liora Kanterewicz hangs in the atrium.
Ticker Paintings at the Bar
Ticker Paintings by young artist Mike Rollins is an immersive visual experience that wraps around the upper bar area.
Victoria Park Plaza marked a pivotal moment in ArtLink’s journey as the first curatorial project in the hospitality sector and the first hotel project ever to showcase a curated collection of Young & Emerging Art. Prior to this, ArtLink had been pioneering this category globally in partnership with Sotheby’s, and here we brought that vision to life in an entirely new context. Victoria Park Plaza London was more than a hotel art program—it was a statement of innovation, setting a new standard for how contemporary art could be experienced in hospitality spaces.
